The use of quick weight loss pills is increasing rapidly all
over the world. Xenical is one of the most popular FDA approved weight loss
pills that works comparatively better (according to many online reviews). Just 2
days ago (11 October 2014), I used Google Keyword Tool to calculate Xenical’s
popularity (monthly search volume), and the tool showed me its monthly search
volume is 135,000 only! Anyway, here is a brief review on weight loss pill
Xenical.
What Is Xenical And How Does It Work?
Xenical is a weight loss drug that keeps about one-third of
the fats in the food that you eat from being digested. It attaches to the
enzymes that break down fats, keeping them from being absorbed by the body.
This undigested fat is then eliminated in your bowel movements. It has been
shown to help obese people not only lose weight, but to keep it off, too. Used
together with a healthy diet and exercise, Xenical is used to treat obesity and
related conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and few
breathing problems.
Who Can Take Xenical?
You should not try to lose weight if you are pregnant. If you
are taking it to lose your baby weight, it is not a good idea to take Xenical
if you are breastfeeding, as it is not known if the medication can be passed to
the baby through breast milk. If you are taking thyroid hormone such as
levothyroxine, make sure you take it at least four hours before or after you
take Xenical. It can also cause lowered absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.
Take a multivitamin that contains vitamins A, D, E, K, and beta-carotene once
daily, at least 2 hours before or after your Xenical dose.
Common Side Effects of Xenical
Let your doctor know if you have food absorption, liver or
gallbladder problems, an eating disorder or diabetes. Common side effects
include oily rectal discharge, urgent need to have a bowel movement, fatty or oily
stools, excessive bowel movements, and being unable to control bowel movements.
Keeping your meals to under 30% fat content will help stop the stool/leakage
problems.
